Girls on bisycles

While I'm still sorting out the pictures from my vacations, I want to share something with you. I was trying to learn how to ride a bike since I was a little kid.

When I lived with my parents in Czech Republic they both had their bikes - they were called Karl and Clara))) They were riding them everywhere, and I usually rode with my dad, on Karl. It actually is one of my happiest childhood memories - I love that time.

But I just couldn't figure out a bisycle. It's embarrasing, I know, but I've broken my elbows and knees countless times and there were no result. So I gave up. For 15 years.

But this summer, while I was visiting Lithuania, I became inspired again. I wanted to get on bysicle! I came back to Kyiv, went for a sushi with my univercity friend, and she was like: "Hey, you know what? I've learnt to ride a bisycle. We're going every Sunday to the ExpoCentre, do you want to go and learn with us?". It was an amazing coincidence and I'm so happy that it happened.

Because a week ago, on Saturday, on a nice sunny day I went with them, rented a bike and learnt how to ride in about one hour. I don't know what was holding me back before, but I'm so happy I've managed to overcome my fears. I honestly thought that at 27 I was too old to learn how to ride, but that was an absolute nonsence.

This Saturday I'm renting a bike for the forth time - I was going back there after work and was riding bike till dark. And my after-work week looks like this: Monday - dancing, Tuesday - bisycle, Wednesday - dancing, Thursday - bisycles, Friday - dancing, Saturday - bisycles, Sunday - probably bisycles as well. And I'm loving it))

I want to share this beautiful Phillip Lim collection preview called "Girls on bikes". It's beautiful - the cities, the girls, their clothes. Lovely and inspiring)
