{outfit post - burlesque}

I still don't have any pictures from our photoshoot, but I can show you some pictures from the dance show I've participated in last Sunday))

As you know, I'm currently studying contemporary dance and a little weird thing called lady dance. So we had three dances on the show, and burlesque routine was one of them.

I needed this outfit to look good, but also to be comfortable for dancing, so I've put on some layers and I had to improvise a lot and work with what I had, because dance costumes are quite expencive (and usually pretty lame).

У мене й досі немає фотографій з фотосессії, але зараз я можу показати вам кілька фотографій з нашого виступу минулої неділі.

Як ви знаєте, я зараз займаюсь танцями - контемпорарі та дивною штукою, що називається lady dance. Тож у нас на концерті було три танці, і один з них - номер у стилі бурлеск.

Мож вбрання мало бути не оише гарним, але й зручним, тому довелось вдягати кілька шарів, працювати з тим, що в мене було та багато імпровізувати, бо танцювальні костюми доволі дорогі (і часто - дуже страшні)).

Фотографії інших танців я покажу пізніше.

I wore/Я вдягала:

Polka-dotted skirt/Спідниця в горошок - thrifted and altered for the show
Top/Топ - PTA
Petticoat/Спідня сукня - from my mom's old dress (she bought it in 80th, when we were living in Czech Republic)
Shoes/Взуття - Grand prix ballet dance shoes in black (similar)
Belt/Пояс - B.P.C. (via http://www.bonprix.ua/ )

Socks/Шкарпетки - Centro

Gloves/Рукавички - borrowed from a friend

Bow-tie/Метелик - don't remember

Hair pin/Заколка - handmade (via my shop - Antares Flower Buttons)

Brooch/Брошка на спідниці - bought at a haberdashery store and DIY (I'l have a post about it later)

Shorts/Шорти (not visible on the pictures)- Grand Prix dance shorts (similar).
