Christmas #2, New Year #2 and New Years resolutions

Merry Christmas, Orthodox and Greek Catholic people! Happy old New Year!

I was planning to make a few separate posts on all of those topics but then realised that I will not manage to do it for many reasons. So let's mix it a bit!

It took me a long time to understand what are my New Year's Resolutions, or should I rather say - New Year's Goals. But now I really want to put them in writing to have something to measure this year by later. Some of this goals you might have seen in my birthday post, but that's the plan.

On empty opera houses...

Sometimes I really miss my job. I've been working in a concert agency for almost two years, but now our agency has no clients, so I'm back to translations.

I have to tell you, working in show-biz is one of the most nervwracking lines of work I can imagine. Constsant rushing, screaming, deadlines, nerves etc. But at the same time it's a magical world, believe me.

Morning soundchecks, empty opera houses, world known singers and musicians, orchestras, all the dresses, hair&make-up, flowers on the stage, amazind hotel rooms and all the traveling... So yeah, I do miss my job. Those years were an amazing experience for me.

Haven't been blogging for a while. Mostly because I have a LOT of work now (I took a translation project from one of Ukrainian TV-channels and currently working on the first season of The Contender).

I really could use some money, especially now, when my friends from Russia and Lithuania are coming and we already planned a trip to Lviv, an old and really beautiful Ukrainian city with amazing European architecture.

We are going there this week, so I have to finish translations by that time. So no more blogging for now, just work. LOTS of work.
