My trusty WEARdrobe: revisited

Hello, amazing people!

Last year I wrote a blog post about 9 wardrobe staples, that survived 3 years of travelling between countries and continents, and still were in a great condition. That post you can find here.

Ready for winter)

First snow melted very quickly, but today I woke up and saw that everything is white once again.

Few weeks ago I was going through my stuff, cleaning the wadrobe, and decided to make some sort of a scarf catalogue)) There're not all the stuff I own, but what I tend to wear often.

Trifting

I wasn't much of a thrifting person, but lately I've begin to love it for various reasons. I'm always so happy when I find some really good clothes and pay so little for it.

Here are few of my rescent finds. Nothing too exciting, I was mostly shopping for cardigans - yeah, the snow is near, I can smell it in the air.

 

So why there was no crafts night?

Because we got lazy! I was half dead from all the translations, girls were pretty much in the same state because of their jobs. So we cooked some yummy-yummy mushroom ravioli with tomato sauce and parmesan, opened a bottle of pink wine and listened to Sasha's stories about her and her boyfriend's rescent trip to Budapest-Milan-Geneva-Venezia-some other cities. Than we got our presents from her trip:

 

There're mine: small jewelry box with Raphael's angels (I have the umbrella with this print and when it's raining I always feel like I'm in Dresden's Gallery, in front of The Sistine Madonna), two rings, Hello Kitty (and polka dots, again) socks, few magnets and venezian mask earings.

I love this little cute things so much!

BTW, to finish the story with polka dots - I've ordered a pair of black and white polka dot rain boots today.

And then, after delicious dinner, we started our Pushing Daisies marathon. I adore this show! All the colors, aestetic, great humor and dialogues. And this amazing dresses. TV can't get better than Brian Fuller's TV-shows.

New boots

Aren't they just gourgeous? We're going to share them with my mom - it's really great to have the same size. But I don't think that she'll wear the ones with the highest heel.

I love sales!

Sorry, but no brand name - it sounds really pathetic in English, I want to meet the author and ask him/her what him or her was thinking.

Movies on Saturdays

My outfit from a few days ago. One morning I decided to go to one of the oldest movie-theatres in Kyiv to see 'Letters to Juliette' and this is what I decided to wear:

- blue jeans
- white cotton tank top
- turquoise tunic (my favorite color)
- black cardigan
- lots of bracelets
- black&white Carnaby shoes on high heels (sadly not on the photo)
- vintage broach (it was my grandmothers, and I love it so much. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's beautiful)
