Day 20 - September 6

Hello again!

Unfortunately the situation with internet in my apartment is still not resolved and I start feeling like this whole idea lost it's sense - I now have too write posts every day and post them once a week from the library. But I will try to continue, because the idea was to do something creative every day, and it works.

So here fasten your belts - the last installment of 100 things about me is coming to you!

   

81. I used to organize concerts. Actually I guess I started this blog right after I quit that job. It was okay, but not nearly as glamorous as it sounds.

Day 14 - August 31

First of all - sorry for the lack of a post yesterday! My place has no internet and I'm finding it very difficult to function like this, as I have to study, work and also blog from home. Let's hope we will figure it out very soon.

Secondly - four parts done, one to go! Actually I never thought that thinking about interesting details about myself can be so difficult. But trust me, it is! 

 

61. My favorite thing to bake is an apple pie with cinnamon. Oooooh. 

62. I always have a green plant of some sort in my place, even when I move.

Day 12 - August 29

And here we go again - the third installment of 100 things about me and the 12th installment of 45daysofblogging!

41. During my life I lived in four countries – Ukraine, Czech Republic, Thailand and Italy.

42. The first time I heard about Easter I was around 6. Yay for communism that always prohibits religions and religious holidays

 43. I started this blog 6 or 7 years ago (but on another address) because I was inspired by one blogger that stopped writing now. I just enjoyed her weekend blogs about road trips and visiting local wineries way too much.

Day 10 - August 27

Yes, few words about me, again.

21. When I was 28, I quit my job in advertising and bought a ticket to Thailand. I consider the months I spent there to be my personal crush test and the most formative time of my life. 

22. I started writing my first story when I was about 6. My mom still keeps it in some secret place, as I threatened to throw it away many times. 

23. My first short story was published in the newspaper when I was 15 or 16 years old. Do I need to tell you how proud I was?

Day 8 - August 25

100 things about me has to be one of my favorite types of posts and youtube videos. But I never thought that finding even 20 interesting fact about myself will make me drink endless cups of tea and look through all the old photos I have. 

But I did it! So here is the first part of my "100 things about me" series: 

1. I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. 

2. My name was given to me by my dad, who had this name in mind and didn’t listen to anyone.

3. BTW, my name is exactly the same as name Marina, but in Ukrainian transcription it’s Maryna.

4. I’m bilingual, as in my family we always spoke both Ukrainian and Russian.
